In 1998 I was named rookie of the year and have been a top producer year after year after year but not because it was “about me”— I received that reward because since my first day it has always been “all about you” .
After being licensed I added the Georgia Realtor Institute (GRI) designation as well as my broker’s license to increase the knowledge I could bring to the table for marketing and negotiation for my clients. With over 90% of my business generated by past clients or referrals, it is important to me that every client experience excellent service.
I have a unique certification as a premier listing agent who is also certified in home staging. Staging may help to get your home sold faster and with less hassle. I remember several deals where very little staging added a significant number to the seller’s bottom line but it also provided a move-in ready home for the buyer.
After establishing Valdosta’s first real estate team with a seller’s agent and a buyer’s agent, my focus turned to training and encouraging the team to offer the same excellent service my client’s have come to expect. The team offers a new concept to the South Georgia market because we believe to provide the highest level of service we must represent only buyers or sellers enabling us to think constantly like the client we serve.
My newest passion has turned to helping the agents at Mercer Hughes Real Estate Group and the Property Management Team become more knowledgeable, successful, and generous thereby continuing to build a company that focuses on the needs of the clients we serve.
Outside of real estate I enjoy giving back to the community I love. I served on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center, Bloom Women’s Conference, Valdosta Board of Realtors past president and the Stone Creek social chair. I love my vegetable garden and working out, but not as much as I love my 4 children and 3 grandchildren!
